2. Verification
(1) Zero point verification
Clean and drain the conductive electrode with distilled water to expose it to the air. At this point, the theoretical conductivity should be zero, and the transmitter output should be 4mA. Otherwise, adjust the zero potentiometer and correct the deviation. If it cannot be adjusted, it indicates that the electrode is severely contaminated and should be cleaned.
(2) Full degree verification
Wash the electrode with a portion of the prepared standard conductivity solution before calibration. Example: If the range is 0-100 μ s/cm and a conductivity solution of 50 μ s/cm is configured, the theoretical value on the ammeter should be 16mA × 0.5+4mA=12mA. Otherwise, adjust the "full adjustment" potentiometer, correct the deviation, and calculate the instrument error based on the measured display current and theoretical current.
(Measure the actual value with a standard electrode, measure the same solution with an assembled electrode and a standard electrode, and the measured value should be within the error range.)
Attention: The product has been accurately calibrated at the factory and does not need to be re calibrated during installation. If measurement errors occur during use, they can be calibrated according to the above steps.
3. Installation and operation
When installing the transmitter, do not apply excessive force or collide violently to avoid damaging the electrodes. After wiring, it is necessary to carefully check to prevent incorrect connections. Only after confirming that there are no errors can the power be turned on. During the operation of the instrument, it is important to note that the conductivity cell must be filled with the measured solution. The accumulation of gas in the conductivity cell due to improper pipeline installation is an important cause of measurement errors.
